As part of Collingham in Bloom 2025, The Green continues to flourish as a much-loved and carefully maintained space that reflects the pride and spirit of our village.
This year, we’ve introduced new planters bursting with bright-coloured flowers, chosen not only for their vibrant display but also for their pollinator-friendly benefits. These striking arrangements add year-round interest and create a cheerful focal point for both residents and visitors.
We’ve also cleaned and restored the community bench, making it an inviting place to sit and enjoy the view. The grass has been regularly edged and neatly maintained, giving the whole area a crisp, cared-for look that reflects our community’s commitment to quality green spaces.
The Green is a key stop along the East Midlands in Bloom judging route — a symbol of Collingham’s collaborative spirit and dedication to environmental beauty. It offers a peaceful space for all to enjoy, from families and dog walkers to birds, bees, and butterflies.
