As Collingham gears up to enter East Midlands in Bloom 2025 we need your helping hands to make our village shine!
We have been holding litter picking events throughout the year and our team of volunteers are heading out daily to pick up both in the village and in the surrounding countryside.
These events are a fantastic way to get involved in the community, meet your neighbours, and take pride in the place we call home. Armed with litter grabbers, gloves, and bags (all provided), our volunteers focus on tidying up key areas across the village – from green spaces and footpaths to roadsides and playgrounds.
And it’s not just the events that promote environmental awareness … there is a quiet army of Collingham Womblers who wander the streets, footpaths and byways of Collingham armed with pickers every day making sure the streets are litter free.
Whether you’re a seasoned eco-warrior or just someone who loves a good walk with purpose, your efforts will make a huge difference. Even an hour of your time can transform our shared spaces into cleaner, greener havens.
