We’re delighted to announce that Collingham’s new entrance sign planters are now in place—adding a vibrant and welcoming touch to the village throughout the seasons.
Both our entrance signs have been lovingly repainted by one of our Guerilla Bloomers and now sparkle! You wouldn’t know that only 4 months ago they were falling apart, leaning and paint peeling. We can’t thank our volunteer enough for their dedication and patience.
Collingham is blessed with a beautiful display of daffodils in the spring and our new planters will form a year round welcome to our village.
Designed to showcase a variety of seasonal flowers and plants, the planters will bring vibrant splashes of colour throughout the year. From cheerful spring blooms to rich autumn foliage, they’ll reflect the changing seasons and highlight Collingham’s natural beauty.
This initiative is about more than just decoration – it’s a way to celebrate our village pride and make a lasting impression on visitors. The planters are a collaboration between the Parish Council and local volunteers, with an emphasis on sustainability and pollinator-friendly plants to support our environment.
We’d love your support to keep these displays thriving! Whether you’re interested in helping with planting, ongoing maintenance, or making a generous donation to support the planting, there’s a way for everyone to get involved.
Let’s work together to make Collingham even more inviting, one bloom at a time. Keep an eye out for the first displays soon.
