It’s been another blooming brilliant week across the village! Here’s what we’ve been up to:
Tub planters are now bursting with colour all around the village – filled with gorgeous summer plants and cheerful sunflowers to brighten your walks – and all now being cared for by a multitude of fab volunteers.
The Royal Oak is looking fab with its newly planted hanging baskets and planters at the front – stop by and take a look!
At The Cross, we’ve planted a beautiful selection of perennials, added sweet peas to climb the railings, and the Scouts’ Bug Hotel has now been installed – a big thank you to them for supporting our local wildlife!
The Pinfold continues to be tidied and cared for, keeping its charm alive.
Both The Green and Stockshill have had a thorough watering and weeding, keeping everything fresh and healthy.
Over at The Herb Sensory Space, we’ve planted new blooms and herbs and even given the tyres a paint makeover to smarten them up!
Signage around the village has had a fresh coat too – thank you to all who helped spruce things up – oh and the A1133 sign north side has been mended and the south side one has now got lovely flowers. Our volunteers are planting and maintaining the Swinderby Road and Station Road entrance signs.
And a big shoutout to everyone involved with the Cricket Club – the new entrance flower beds are now beautifully constructed and planted up.
A huge thank you to all our volunteers and supporters – Collingham is looking wonderful because of YOU!
