Could you make a difference in Collingham? Parish Councillor vacancy

Collingham Parish Council currently has a casual vacancy for a Parish Councillor and is inviting local residents to consider putting themselves forward.

Parish councillors play an important role in representing the community, making decisions about local services and facilities, and helping to shape the future of the village. You do not need previous council experience – just an interest in Collingham, a willingness to listen, and a commitment to working constructively with others.

Collingham Parish Council is involved in a wide range of local matters, including open spaces, play areas, the cemetery, community projects, village events, planning matters and local amenities. Councillors help consider reports, agree priorities, set budgets and make decisions at the monthly council meetings.

Becoming a councillor is a voluntary role, but it can be a rewarding way to contribute to village life, learn more about local government and help ensure the views of residents are heard.

Anyone interested in the vacancy is encouraged to find out more and contact the Clerk for an informal discussion or application details.
