🗣️ Have Your Say – Ask a Question at the Next PCC Accountability Board

Do you have a question about serious violence, knife crime, or road safety in Nottinghamshire?

Now’s your chance to put it directly to the Chief Constable at the next Police and Crime Commissioner’s Accountability Board on Tuesday 12 November 2025.

The Accountability Board is a public forum where Police and Crime Commissioner Gary Godden holds Temporary Chief Constable Steve Cooper to account for the performance of Nottinghamshire Police.

It’s an opportunity for you, the public, to help shape priorities, raise concerns, and hear how the force is tackling key issues that affect our communities.

🎥How to get involved:

We’re inviting members of the public who are not affiliated with the OPCC or partner organisations to send in a short video question (maximum one minute) to mediaopcc@notts.police.uk by Monday 28 October.

Please start your video with the following line: “My name is (first name) and I live in (location). My question for the Chief Constable on serious violence/knife crime/road safety is…”

Due to time restraints, we won’t be able to feature all questions – but we’ll aim to include a balanced selection that reflects the key themes raised by the public.

Once answered, we will post the Chief Constable’s response to our social media pages, to see an example of how this works in practice, you can watch the video linked https://s-url.co/FO8mAA.

This is your chance to be part of the conversation and help us create a safer Nottinghamshire for all.
