Wildflower Creation

As part of our Collingham in Blook 2025 efforts, we’re encouraging residents to help create bee and butterfly-friendly habitats throughout Collingham. These vital pollinators are essential to our environment, and by planting bee and butterfly-friendly plants, we can provide them with the resources they need to thrive.

Creating a pollinator-friendly space doesn’t have to be difficult or time-consuming. Simple actions like planting native wildflowers, adding nectar-rich plants, and leaving areas for insects to rest can make a big difference. Whether you have a small garden, a window box, or just a few pots, every little effort helps create a greener Collingham.

How to Get Involved:

  • Help us grow the plug plants for our free giveaway OR
  • Collect your free plug plants in April or May.
  • Plant them in your garden, yard, or window boxes.
  • Watch as the bees and butterflies visit!

Together, we can make Collingham a sanctuary for pollinators and a shining example of community-led environmental care.
